To all old and new members:
Veteran Members of the 1st ID, 82nd A/B and USMC 2nd Raiders should identify themselves by name and city.
Replacements (new guys) will please put forth an introduction that includes your name, city, reenactment experience and other basic pertinent information. You do not need to list your address or telephone number in a public area. We will glean that information. Any associations you've had with other reenactment groups, veterans groups or living history is welcome.

Example intro for new members:
My name is Roque Torres and I live in Walnut Creek, California. I have been interested in military history since I was a kid and have always been particularly enamored with the WWII era. My Grandfather was in the ETO in WWII and he's my hero. I am particularly interested in the great and rich histories of the 1st Infantry Division (First to Fight!) and the 82nd Airborne Division (All Americans) as their WWII travels included from North Africa to the end of WWII.
I have impressions that would cover basic WWII Infantryman as well as mid and late WWII Airborne Impressions. My USMC Impression is that of your standard PTO Marine. I have weapons, headgear, boots, gear, uniforms and even some loaner stuff for anyone in need.
Roque

Greetings to my Para, Glider and Leg comrades. Roq, thanks for jump starting this whole thing and getting it in place. Marv, thanks for updating the 1st ID site and giving all a home to go to.
This is Mike Hagins long time unit leader of the 82nd AB in Norcal. We have a long history going back to our affiliation with CHG and then branching off on our own to form the CHS in NORCAL with the 1st ID and 9th SS.
WWII living history and reenacting have been on my plate since 1996 and I look foward to sharing this with you all for a long time.
Airborne!
LT. Michael Hagins E. Co., 3rd Platoon, 2/505 82nd Airborne (Reenacting)

Hello My name is Russ Aquino. I live in Suisun City. I have been interested in military history for as long as I can remember, especially WWII. I really do not have any re-enacting experience but am willing to learn. I have a very supporting family who are willing to do anything they can to help out and participate, incIuding 2 sons and a daughter. I do have most of my impression together but am still working to complete it. I got interested in joining from talking to my friend Rogue Torres. I am very excited in working with you all. Thank you, Russ

Welcome aboard Rusty. Rusty and his sons Wlliam and Quentin have participated in some events already. Rusty has his airborne impression and we're working on Williams (14 years old). Quentin is 9 years old I believe (?) and can maybe perticipate as a partisan spy or Hitler Youth.

Hi, this it Rudy Norvelle. I did some WWII reenactments with the 1st ID back in that early 2000s, 2005 and later. I am in San Jose. I do Civil War and Roman Reenacting also. In WWII I am a member of the 49th Guards. I also have impressions for WWII Infantryman and PTO USMC. I have about 80% of my airborne stuff also. I am going to join the CHG again this year after all and will see how I can do even thouhg I am getting a bit long in the tooth. I am quite interested on history especially WWII and my father was in the US Navy from 1926-1956 and his brother was with Merrills Marauders as far as I know. In addition a Uncle of mine flew a B-17 with the 8th AF in WWII.
