Sorry for being AWOL:
Could you pass the word on Facebook that we need as many hands on deck with the Living History Encampment at the MVCC Event on April 20-27. There will be plenty of tents and extra cots for some. The MVCC has entrusted the our group with area to make the camp, area that they could have rented to vendors, and I would like to get as maximum participation as possible. Any WWII Impression is welcome but we are trying to focus on WWII PTO. Please pass the word so that we can get some publicity for the HFA. This year, like last year, the News Cameras will be in the camp at one point so we have an opportunity to make our club look good and also impress the MVCC.
This is a precedent setting event for the reenactors good or bad. The door is opened for our organization, at least with respect to the MVCC, so are we going to walk through it and keep it open? Please pass the word that it's is open to ALL reenactors of WWII in particular. It would be helpful to bring yor own cot, and any extra's if you have them.
WWII PTO Rest Area- Any Service or even Civilian Impressions.
